Even though April may seem warm we always hesitate to say you are ok to plant everything in April. We likely will get freezes and this can be harmful to the plants, but some plants can handle this. Usually in Northern Colorado (east of the mountains) it is ‘safe’ for all plants around Mother’s Day. Which is coincidentally a good time to get your mother some beautiful flowers.
